TAP PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

TAP provides many training workshops throughout the year designed to strengthen Illinois’ system of care for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) 1) by increasing the availability and number of appropriately credentialed providers who are trained in administering ASD-specific diagnostics tools and 2) by increasing the number of educators, first responders, day care/child care providers, and primary medical providers who are properly trained in early identification of ASD 3) by providing education and resources for families and/or caregivers.
