The Autism Program at the Hope Institute for Children and Families
The Autism Program of Illinois at the Hope Institute for Children and Families (TAP-HICF), located in Springfield, began as the Central Illinois Regional Training Center in 2003 with a goal to increase community awareness of ASD and to increase family access to early diagnosis and appropriate intervention by providing training to educators, Early Intervention professionals and medical providers. Since that time, The Autism Program of Illinois (TAP) Service Network has expanded from 3 to 19 locations, and TAP-HICF is one of 17 agencies that are a part of The TAP Network. TAP-HICF offers a number of resources and services for families and members of the Central Illinois community including screenings, diagnostics, group and individual therapy, consultation, and trainings.
