On behalf of Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago, I invite you to participate in a very special program called “Celebrate Autism!” This is an opportunity for you to share an inspirational story with dozens of parents, teachers, therapists, family members, professionals, and individuals who have been touched by autism.
We will feature your story along with dozens of others on a special “Celebrate Autism” webpage filled with stories and insights which will appear in April on Easter Seals Web site (www.eastersealsandautism.com). You can share your own personal experience or talk about someone you know who is living with autism. You don’t have to be a ‘writer’ to participate – just someone with a positive story to tell!
We often hear from parents, teachers and even therapists who talk about the overwhelming challenges they face. Your story can give them the strength and encouragement they need to respond to their challenges and learn more about the many resources that Easter Seals and other organizations can provide.
The ultimate goal of our “Celebrate Autism” webpage is to share stories and insights to provide hope, support, inspiration and camaraderie.
We invite you to submit your story (of any length) by e-mail to Michelle Kuhn at firstname.lastname@example.org by April 26th, 2013. Please include your name, phone number and/or e-mail address so that we can contact you to let you know when your story will appear. We also encourage you to share this invitation with others whom you believe can contribute to this “Celebrate Autism” webpage of stories and insights.
Thank you in advance for your willingness to share your story and make a positive difference in the lives of thousands of people living with autism in the Chicago area.
Sincerely, Colleen Shinn
